John and Lorella Rouster are the visionaries behind Every Child Ministries. They have served with Every Child Ministries since its birth in 1985, as founders, then as Board members and volunteers from 1985 to 1989, as African Field Directors in DR Congo (then Zaire) from 1990 to 1996, and as International Directors from 1997 to 2014.As of January 1, 2015, the Rousters passed the torch of international leadership to Mark Luckey as the International Director. They continued to serve with ECM, with active roles in several overseas projects, until John officially retired in October, 2016. Lorella has remained on staff, and continues to serve in various capacities, while John still helps out frequently as a volunteer. Both John and Lorella are occasional speakers at churches, schools, civic groups and events. John and Lorella’s focus is on the Mwinda Project, ECM’s projects supporting our work in Congo.
