Before coming to Haven of Hope, Douglas was living with his father, Francis Kwabena Antwi.  His mother died when he was young. Douglas’ father asked for help because he couldn’t find employment. So Douglas came to live at Haven of Hope where he has been thriving and getting the care and supervision he needs. His father just recently passed away in May of 2022.

Douglas is a hard worker and diligent in his studies. He participates well in class and always submits his homework on time. Douglas loves to play foot ball.  Douglas is now in his third year studying psychology at the University of Ghana! He would like to be employed someday with Ghana immigration or customs, but if that doesn’t work out he aspires to be a psychologist.  Douglas currently only has one sponsor but needs two or three more in order to be fully covered with his tuition needs.
