Hayirati lives with her mother and younger sister in a one room house. She had been attending Nazigo Primary School and was doing well in Primary 1. The family is Christian.  Hayirati was born with albinism, which makes her situation more difficult than the typical child. Hayirati’s father died in a boat accident 2 years ago, and her mother has no job, except that she tries to sell a few vegetables at her food stall. The house was given to them by a friend to stay in temporarily until they can get on their feet, but it’s not in good condition. Hayirati’s mother cannot pay the school fees without some support. Hayirati has one sponsor, but she needs one more to be fully covered. Could you be the one to give Hayirati hope and ensure that she can continue attending school?
