Prince Kofi Banse was separated from (or abandoned by) his family and was found in 2017 by the police. They began a search his relatives. Prince was 7 years old at the time and he was was helpless and stranded. His story was broadcasted to television and radio in hopes that his family would hear and come retrieve him, but sadly, no one ever came for him. So Prince was transferred to Department of Social Welfare, who then placed him at Haven of Hope Children’s Home. Prince is doing well now that he is settled in the home and going to school, but he still has no family to take responsibility for his school fees and other needs. He currently has three sponsors, but needs 1 more sponsor at $37/month in order to cover both his education and the cost of living at the home.
