Give Me Eyes to See (228p)

Many people have asked Lorella to write more about how many of the ECM projects were started.  In doing so, she realized that it was largely her painful autistic childhood that God used to give her eyes to see so many groups of forgotten children.  Their pain gripped her and moved her to action because she had felt a similar pain herself.  This book shares a bit of Lorella’s formative childhood and guides the reader through the twelve times God led her to start projects for hurting children under ECM.

Stoke My Fire

Lorella says that second only to the Bible itself, nothing has done more to ‘stoke her fire’, to keep her steady and persevering than reading missionary biographies.  This habit began soon after she became a Christian at age 15, when her Sunday school teacher passed around missionary biographies for the girls in her class to read.  Through the years, Lorella has enjoyed reading hundreds of such biographies.  They have always left her feeling inspired and committed to serve Christ even more fervently.  In ‘Stoke My Fire’, Lorella retells selections from some of her favorites.  Geared for family reading and for all ages.
